MULTAN: A neighbour attacked a woman with acid on Sunday after an argument over garbage disposal.
Police said residents of Chak 299EB had told them that 31-year-old Afshan Naheed was crossing the road to leave trash in an empty plot when Muhammad Sharif, a neighbour, told her not to dump it there. He said on her refusal to comply the man threw acid at her.
Naheed was rushed to Burewala THQ hospital where doctors said she had suffered 30 per cent burns.
Sharif was later arrested by the police.
