To be developed: Construction banned in F-14, F-15

PM Nawaz Sharif has already approved the opening of two new sectors

ISLAMABAD:

Section 144 has been imposed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Saddar) Rabia Aurangzeb to stop construction activity in the notified areas of sectors F-14 and F-15.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already approved the opening of two new sectors to cater to residential needs of federal government employees and other specified groups in the city.

According to a notification by the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration, the construction of houses along with transportation and loading and unloading of construction material within the territories of sectors F-14 and F-15 (Saddar sub-division) has been prohibited forthwith.

The order will remain in force for two months. Around 12,000 plots will be developed by the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation in these sectors.
