Not comfy: Store owner sued over unfit sweater

LAHORE: A consumer court issued a notice on Tuesday to the proprietor of a garments store over a Rs2.51 million suit filed against him. Salim Hasan told the court that on February 12, he had visited the store at TCS Square, Fortress Stadium, and bought a sweater. He said the salesman had assured him that he would replace the jersey or return him the money if it didn’t fit. Hasan said he had tried the sweater at home but it did not fit him. He said the salesman had refused to replace it or return the money. He requested the court to direct the respondent to pay Rs2.51 million in damages.
