Pakistan condemns US drone strike in North Waziristan

Drone strike in North Waziristan on Monday had killed four suspected militants and injured two others

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has condemned the Monday’s US drone strike in the Spinkai Raghzai area of North Waziristan Agency, and reiterated its call for cessation of such strikes, Radio Pakistan reported.

A statement issued by Foreign Office says such strikes are in disregard of our territorial sovereignty and international law.

Such events generate distrust among the local populace, added the statement.

A drone strike in North Waziristan on Monday had killed four suspected militants and injured two others.

A US spy plane fired two missiles at a house and a vehicle in Shawal area of North Waziristan.
