University of Peshawar VC Dr Rasul Jan was the chief guest at the ceremony.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) in collaboration with University of Peshawar organised 3rd International Social Sciences Conference titled “State and Society of Pakistan: Challenges and Opportunities”, which began at HEC Secretariat on Wednesday.
The focus of the conference includes developing and promoting a multi-disciplinary approach to study Pakistani society, forging common research agenda to meet contemporary challenges and identify solutions, examining latest methodological tools, conceptual paradigms and techniques to address the challenging research issues facing Pakistan.
