Pakistan cricket team, throughout its history, hasn’t seen flashier and flamboyant all-rounders than Abdul Razzaq and Shahid Afridi but the debate over who is better than whom can never been resolved.

While Razzaq loved to hit it straight over the bowler’s head targeting the side screen more so often, Afridi was well-known for his power-studded shots all around the park, with long-on and extra cover being his favourite spots lately.

Razzaq averages 29.70 in 265 ODIs with a strike rate of 81.25, while Afridi has managed to maintain an average of 23.57 in 398 ODIs with an astounding strike rate of exactly 117.

Both players have been accused of not playing to their full potential in their glossy careers but their match-winning contributions are always presented as a counter argument by the fans.

While Razzaq was able to confuse the batsmen with his right-arm medium pacers and outgoing deliveries, Afridi was a connoisseur of generating googlies and faster ones among his leg-spinners.

Both batsmen have fluttered up and down in the batting order for Pakistan in their cricketing careers but the main job at hand for the duo has mostly been to finish the game for their team.
