Crops Destroyed: District admin action irks farmers

Farmers say the administration did not furnish any notices prior to the action and inflicted huge losses on them

CHARSADDA: The district administration allegedly destroyed a considerable amount of crops while constructing an embankment along Jandi River. Farmers voiced their concerns over the matter during a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl MNA Maulana Syed Gohar Shah. They said the administration did not furnish any notices prior to the action and inflicted huge losses on them. They threatened to protest if the administration did not compensate them. Shah passed their concerns on to the Charsadda DC.
