Immigration issue: PCB chairman held up at Kolkata airport

PCB chief had visa for New Delhi, but instead of going there he flew from Dhaka and landed in Kolkata

KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan was stopped at Kolkata airport and was not allowed to enter the city by the Indian authorities. According to Daily Express, the PCB chief had the visa for New Delhi, but instead of going there he flew from Dhaka and landed in Kolkata. The unofficial change in travel plan prompted the officials to stop him. However, after a word from higher authorities, the Indian immigration officials finally allowed Shaharyar Khan to leave the airport.
