Elected Office Bearers: PHCBA cabinet takes oath
Gul asked the CJ to constitute special benches for criminal, civil and tax cases
PESHAWAR:
Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel administered oath to the newly-elected cabinet of Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA) on Saturday. Addressing the ceremony, CJ Miankhel said the judiciary has rendered a number of sacrifices to provide justice to the people but steps would also be taken to ensure welfare of lawyers. The PHCBA cabinet elected for the year 2015-16 includes President Fida Gul, General Secretary Muhammad Taif Khan, Vice President Hazrat Said, Joint Secretary Adnan Khattak, Library Secretary Waheedullah, Press Secretary Akhtar Ilyas, Finance Secretary Muhammad Ayaz Khan and executive members Ibrahim Shah and Sabiha Iqbal. On the occasion, Gul asked the CJ to constitute special benches for criminal, civil and tax cases, so that they are decided on time.
