Even the best efforts of Steven Smith and Chris Morris were not enough to prevent Sunrisers Hyderabad from falling to a seven-run defeat against the Rajasthan Royals in their Indian Premier League match at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

Batting first, Rajasthan made 201-4 courtesy of Eoin Morgan’s superb 28-ball 63 and Shikhar Dhawan’s 54 off 35 balls. Shane Watson claimed 2-36 in his three overs but went for runs.

In reply, Smith made 68 off 40 balls to anchor the innings while compatriot James Faulkner made 30 off 19 balls. The match looked as good as over but Morris kept the crowd at the edge of their seats with some incredible hitting at the end, smashing 34 off just 11 balls.
