Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, showcased Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma's sizzling on-screen chemistry. But since their off-screen split, Dil Dhadakne Do will the first time the duo will come together as a couple.
PHOTO: SAHARASAMAYRanveer and Anushka will be seen next in their upcoming venture, Dil Dhadakne Do, directed by Zoya Akhtar. And as the film nears its release, Ranveer has been sharing his experiences of reuniting with Anushka.

In an interview with the daily, when asked if it was difficult working with Anushka, the actor said, "I remember being very excited when Zoya told me that she was considering Anushka for that part. I was mostly convinced that she would decline it. And I told her, 'Well, all the best.'

He further added, "I know that I have a great give-and-take with Anushka. That our energies, when they come together on screen, make for a great watch. I think she has the coolest part in the film and I am glad that she had the foresight to recognise that and her security as an actor to take up a part like that."
Ranveer, too, feels that their on-screen chemistry in his debut film Band Baaja Baarat, was something phenomenal. "Band Baaja Baaraat established us as an onscreen couple and so I was looking forward to working again with her," he said.

The Ramleela star also commented on his ex's acting abilities. He said that the NH10 actor has 'really evolved as an actor'. In addition to that, he feels that she has made some 'intelligent choices' and that he is 'proud of the work she has been doing'.
Talking about Anushka's wild side, the 29-year-old actor said, "She's crazy. She is a wild child. She has a very strong sense of righteousness and is very proper in all her dealings. She is a very honest person and if she feels something, she will say it and will not bother about the consequences. She is a very secure person and calls a spade a spade."

The two stars are part of an ensemble cast in Dil Dhadakne Do. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Rahul Bose, apart from Anushka and Ranveer.
