Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was extradited to Sweden to face investigation regarding rape accusations but took asylum in Ecuador's embassy in London. He fears he may be extradited to the US for his role in leaking secret US documents.

Chelsea Manning, a US soldier, was convicted under the Espionage Act for leaking US intelligence and military documents to Wikileaks. She is serving a 35 years prison sentence.

Edward Snowden took asylum in Russia to avoid extradition to the US. He revealed the mass surveillance being undertaken by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the scale of their global surveillance capabilities.

Dormino plans to tour the world to exhibit the statues and record public opinion.
