“This is a significant event and it’s crucial to many upcoming amateur players as it gives them a great opportunity to show their talent in the game,” said the media director of the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Lounge Khawaja Parvaiz Saeed.
The main competitions in net and gross will be on 54 holes while the ladies will be competing for 36 holes. Seniors and veterans will have 18 and nine.
Defending champion Mohammad Nasir Irshad is expected to have a tough time as his closest competitors Masood Piracha, Mahad Zafar, Imran Mian, Tariq Pervez, Hamza Asif, Dildar Hussain, Janjua and Mohammad Leghari will also be taking part.
