Promoting greenery: CDA awards flower show winners

CMH clinched first position, while the CDA stood second and KRL came third

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday held the prize ceremony for the spring flower, vegetables and bird show it had organised in collabpration with various horticulture societies. 

CDA Member Environment Syed Mustafain Kazmi said the civic agency’s environment wing was working to maintain and enhance the greenery in the capital.


In large category of flowers show, CMH clinched first position, while the CDA stood second and KRL came third in the competition. In medium-large category, COD Golra and Islamabad Club were jointly declared first while PAF was second.


Suleman, a resident of Sector F-8, Nighat Kamal Abbasi of E-7, Dr Naila Saadat of F-7 and  Hina Kamran of Malpur got prizes in different categories of garden arrangements.
