For ‘honour’: Man kills wife over suspicion

Ali suspected his wife had an illicit relationship with Nisar and hence he would lock his wife inside the house

A resident of Takht Bhai, Mardan shot his wife and a neighbour dead on Wednesday as he suspected them for having an illicit relationship. 


According to Saro Shah police station SHO Ahmed Ali Khan, Qamar Ali, a resident of Labour Colony in Sari Behlol, Takht Bhai shot his neighbour Nisar near Sazodin Kalay when Nisar was on his way to work.

Ali later went to his house, added the SHO, and gunned down his wife Farida Bibi, who was the mother of his five children. The official said Ali suspected his wife had an illicit relationship with Nisar and hence he would lock his wife inside the house before leaving for work. The SHO said locals told police Ali was mentally ill.
