The Bahria Town management distributed cheques of Rs100,000 each among the injured victims of a freak mini-cyclone in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa that killed 45 people and left more than 10 injured.
On Tuesday, a Bahria Town relief team sent to Peshawar in the wake of the natural calamity attended to people admitted to the Lady Reading Hospital and handed out the cheques to the patients. The relief efforts are being headed by Brigadier (retd) Tahir Butt.
Bahria Town supremo Malik Riaz had immediately sent a relief team to Peshawar in view of the mini-cyclone, which ripped through the province on Sunday night. The real estate firm has also provided a mobile hospital with medical staff.
