A woman has accused her father of raping her repeatedly over the last seven years resulting in the birth of four children, three of whom he reportedly strangled soon after birth.
The accused man is on the run, said police on Sunday. Khanay*, 19, a resident of Bareela village in Haripur, told Khanpur police her father Bakhti Khan had been raping her for years.
She added in the past seven years, she has given birth to four children and Khan only left one of them alive for reasons she did not know.
The complainant further said Khan also raped her elder sister Shaheena* as well as her sister-in-law Shireena*. Khanay’s mother who accompanied her to the police station also confirmed her complaint. The police registered a case against Khan and are searching for him.*names changed to protect identities
