PARACHANAR: At least two women were killed on Thursday in a mudslide in Parachanar area of Kurram Agency.

The deceased, including a mother of two, were collecting mud for their homes when the incident took place. Soon after the incident, local tribesmen rushed to the site and recovered the bodies of the two victims.

Mudslides are common in the area due to heavy rainfall. On November 17, at least three children died after they were buried in a landslide in Mamond, Bajaur Agency.
