Health woes: Vaccination drive corruption echoes in BA

QUETTA: Provincial minister for health told the Balochistan Assembly that corruption had caused a halt to anti-measles drive in Balochistan for seven years. Member Panel of Chairmen Dr Ruqayya Saeed Hashmi presided over the assembly session held on Tuesday. Speaking on point of order, Opposition Leader Maulana Abdul Wasey said that five children died in Qila Saifullah after they were administered anti-measles vaccination. He said that he rejected the committee conducting inquiry into the incident.
