Right-arm medium pacer suffers pulls his hamstring muscle

KARACHI: Pakistan right-arm swing bowler Ehsan Adil has been ruled out of the series against Bangladesh due to a hamstring injury, Express News reported on Saturday.

Umar Gul has been called to replace Ehsan but he will not be able to reach in time for the second ODI.

The injury added to Pakistan's woes as middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood, right-arm fast-bowler Sohail Khan and leg-spinner Yasir Shah already succumbed to injuries and were ruled out of the series even before it started.

Pakistan lost the first ODI by 79 runs on Friday as Bangladesh took 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

The teams are scheduled to play one T20 and two Tests after the ODI series.
