Security breakdown: Senior doctor kidnapped in Quetta

QUETTA: Unidentified men hauled away Dr Amir Baksh, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) programme’s provincial head and Coordinator of Balochistan Health Department from Quetta’s Sariab Road on Wednesday. SHO Sariab police station Mushtaq Ahmed said that Dr Baksh was on his way to office when armed men kidnapped him. Paramedical Staff Association leader Aziz Ahmed Lehri threatened to boycott the anti-measles campaign if the doctor was not recovered.
