LAHORE: An election tribunal on Wednesday dismissed three applications filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Hamid Khan. The tribunal is hearing alleged electoral rigging in NA-125 constituency in the 2013 elections. Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) Khawaja Saad Rafique had won the seat. On Wednesday, tribunal dismissed Khan’s applications for presenting additional evidence, inspection of polling bags of 25 polling stations and for examining polling record. On April 12, the judge had sought reply from Rafique on the request for seeking additional evidence. He submitted that the application was not maintainable and was an effort to delay the matter.
