Elderly man held for molestation bid

LAHORE:

Police arrested a 75-year-old man accused of attempting to molest a 13-year-old boy in Nishtar Colony, following a quick response to the incident reported by local residents.

According to police officials, the suspect, Nader, allegedly lured the victim to his home under false pretenses. Once inside, he reportedly tried to engage in inappropriate acts with the child.

The boy's cries for help alerted neighbours, who rushed to the scene and restrained the suspect until police arrived.

A case was registered against the suspect under sections of the law pertaining to attempted child molestation.
