Mobile penetration: Haier introduces handsets in Pakistan

Haier Mobile – a global brand – has ventured into the mobile handset business in Pakistan. Ruba SEZ Group – with experience of partnership with internationally renowned companies – President Shah Faisal Afridi described the new venture as a way to provide affordable mobile phones to the masses, according to a press release. According to Afridi, Haier Mobile’s vision is to deliver accessible technology and be a symbol of growth in technology. Haier Mobile Chief Executive Office Zeshan Qureshi said the product is customised to perfectly fit the market demand in Pakistan, making it a force to be reckoned with. The full range consists of the three-tier Klassic, Pursuit and Esteem series. The chief guest of the event was Qingdao Haier Telecom CEO Zhangzhong.
