Pressing demands: Paramedics to protest outside PA

The Punjab Paramedics’ Alliance will hold a protest demonstration on Monday (today) outside the Punjab Assembly. Alliance chairman Malik Munir said that the protest rally would start from Jinnah Hospital. “The rally participants will reach Shaikh Zayed Hospital and then Ganga Ram Hospital. Later, they will stage a sit-in outside the assembly,” he said. He said that the Health Department had failed to announce the service structure of employees of grade 1 to 4. “The department is also not providing the health professional allowance to paramedics,” Munir said.
