ISLAMABAD:

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said on Thursday that Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Pakistan this month. However, she did not provide the exact details.

Earlier reports suggested that the Chinese president was due in Islamabad on April 9. But now sources said the sought-after visit would take place on April 17.

“Pakistan and China are strategic partners and all-weather friends. High level exchanges between the two countries are a feature of our strategic partnership to further enhance our bilateral relations in all fields,” the spokesperson said.
