Mysterious death: Woman found dead in Sutiyaro village

SUKKUR: A woman was found dead at her house in the Sutiyaro village near Mirpur Mathelo within the limits of the Dad Leghari police on Thursday. Kariman, the wife of Muhammad Ramzan Shaikh, was found dead with a bullet wound in the chest. The police reached the scene and shifted the body to Mirpur Mathelo Hospital for post-mortem. At the hospital, the deceased woman’s mother told reporters that a loaded pistol was lying on her bed. As soon as Kariman picked up the weapon, it went off and she was shot in the chest, she added. While the police are investigating into the matter, a case has yet to be registered.
