Recreational Activity: Sports gala concludes in Barikot

BARIKOT: A three-day sports gala concluded in Parrarai area of Barikot tehsil on Thursday. Hundreds of athletes from across Swat district participated in different competitions of track and field games. Matches of cricket, football, hockey, volleyball and kabaddi were also held. Malakand Commissioner Kifayatullah Khan distributed prizes amongst victorious teams and players during the closing ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Khan said with support from the provincial government, the district administration will soon construct a stadium in Kanju, Kabal tehsil.
