ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan, urged the federal and provincial public-sector institutions to play their part in coping up with present and future water challenges.

Continuing with unsustainable habits regarding the use of water for agriculture, industrial and domestic purposes, particularly in the context of negative impacts of climate change on water resources, would continue to put efforts and initiatives for achieving sustainable development goals at stake, the minister warned.

In a statement, Mushahid Ullah Khan pressed for the need to transform public’s attitude towards rapidly depleting natural resources through massive awareness campaigns at all scales including educational institutions and media.
