ISLAMABAD:
Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja, has asked police to take stern action against land grabbers in the area without any discrimination or fear.
“I will send home any DSPs and SHOs that fail to reduce the crime rate in their respective jurisdictions,” warned the official in his first meeting.
The official further directed his subordinates to draft a comprehensive plan and raid organised gambling and drug dens.
The meeting was attended by City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi, SSP Muhammad Azam, Operations SSP Karamatullah Malik, Saddar, Rawal and Potohar division SPs, and the Attock, Jehlum and Chakwal district police officers.
