Looted: CM’s daughter loses cash, jewellery
Rs80,000 in cash and jewellery worth Rs50,000

Dr Nusrat Shah, one of the daughters of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, was deprived of her valuables at Civil Hospital, Karachi, on Friday. Dr Shah, a gynaecologist at the hospital, reported that her purse, containing Rs80,000 in cash and jewellery worth Rs50,000, was stolen from the hospital premises. Upon her complaint, the Eidgah police visited the hospital to inquire about the incident and detained two ward boys and a security guard. SI Arib, the case inquiry officer, told The Express Tribune that the suspects were released after interrogation. He added that the complainant has yet to register a case.
