Is Bebo Akshay Kumar's lucky charm?

Kareena Kapoor reserves special appearances only for close friends, Akshay being one of them.

Akshay Kumar couldn't be happier about pairing up with Kareena Kapoor Khan for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's and Shabinaa Khan's latest flick Gabbar is Back slated for release on May 1.

Indian news website NDTV reported that the actor couldn't stop gushing over his Kambakkht Ishq co-star. He adds, "Bebo knows how deeply I appreciate her effort and expertise. She is my lucky charm."

According to Times of India, Gabbar Is Back focuses on a common man, played by Kumar, waging war against corruption. The actor will be seen romancing Kareena in the soulful number, Teri Meri Kahaani, which happens to be the first song to be launched for this film.

Referring to the song, which takes viewers over the emotional journey of the couple, the actor added "I'm sure viewers are going to love her in Teri Meri Kahaani. She has brought a kindness to our film like no other."

Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy with promotions of Gabbar Is Back, was overheard saying that Kareena Kapoor Khan's song in the movie is a treat. He hopes that he gets more opportunities to work alongside the heroine and reportedly said, "Bebo has been an integral part of my career; we've done many movies together and I hope we do many more."

It is obvious that Kareena returns the affection. The actress revealed that she only reserves special appearances for close friends which is why she agreed to do the song Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita in Rowdy Rathore.

The actress did not hold back when it came to expressing her own feelings. "I'm an emotional person. For me, relationships in the industry are of prime importance. My song in Gabbar Is Back is for my friend Shabinaa. I had a great time doing a cameo in the Rowdy Rathore song too and shooting for this song was even more fun and enjoyable."
