PMDC: Exam results for foreign-qualified doctors announced

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) announced examination results of foreign-qualified Pakistani doctors for certification as registered medical practitioner.


The PMDC conducted National Examination Board examination for Pakistani nationals having foreign basic medical/ dental qualification.


The examination was held in collaboration with Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi at Pakistan-China Centre here in the capital.


In Step-I (Basic Subjects Theory Examination) a total of 1,450 candidates appeared of which 333 candidates were declared pass.


In Step-II (Clinical Subjects Theory Examination) a total of 1,087 candidates appeared of which 572 candidates were declared pass.


In Step-I examination the passing percentage was 23 and in Step-II examination passing percentage remained 52.
