KARACHI:
Waadi Animations released the official trailer for Pakistan’s first animated feature film 3 Bahadur on Friday, March 27. The trailer will be screened at all major cinemas across Pakistan from April onwards, according to a press release.

3 Bahadur, which is slated to release on May 22, tells the story of a fictional town in Pakistan, Roshan Basti (Town of Light). The movie revolves around three 11-year-old friends Amna, Saadi and Kamil, who set out to save their community from the many evils that plague it. The film is a journey of fighting back, taking charge, and finding support and love in the most improbable of places.

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, the CEO of Waadi Animations, is also the creative director of 3 Bahadur with ARY Films distributing and marketing the film. The original soundtrack for the movie has been composed and produced by renowned musician Shiraz Uppal.

The animation studio also plans on launching a website dedicated to the movie, which would not only provide visitors with information about it but also give them access to downloadable content, such as images, music and behind-the-scenes videos. Apart from this, Waadi Animations had earlier hinted at releasing a comic strip series that would showcase the adventures of the movie’s primary characters.
