LONDON: A ‘Muslim call girl’ in London, who goes by the name of Kamillah, is willing to enter into a Nikkah Mu’tah with customers who are seeking to embrace a traditional form of marriage to absolve themselves from the sin of premarital sex.

Kamillah, who has 80,000 Twitter followers, charges a mere $100  for the Nikka Mu’tah. The $450-an-hour escort dons a veil or hijab in most of her photos on her booking site.

Speaking to an undercover reporter from The Sun, Kamillah said that the quick marriage followed by divorce service is great in demand.

“It’s very popular,” she explained.

The biggest challenge that the half-Iranian, half-Iraqi Kamillah faces now, however, is that other escorts are pretending to be Middle Eastern and are offering the same service.

Though many Shia clerics continue to debate about the permissibility of Nikkah Mu’tah, it is outlawed for Sunnis.

“I did it with one Saudi who converted to Shia only so he could do mut’ah. He did it just for that reason,” Kamillah told The Sun.

“He was in London for two months. I was his wife for the two months. I lived with him and I wasn’t allowed to be with any other man. He paid very good money. He is coming back next year and we’ll do it again. It’s common for Arabs to do it.”

Recently, there has been a trend in which young British Muslims are engaging in this act to experience a ‘Western girlfriend/boyfriend relationship’.

“Definitely, Nikkah Mut’ah is on the rise now…Students are educated people so obviously they look around for a solution to their problems from an Islamic perspective,” Omar Farooq Khan, former president of the Islamic Society at Bradford University, told the BBC Asian Network.

“What else are they going to do?” he added. “They can’t just have a cold shower because it doesn’t work and otherwise they just end up doing the haram thing and having a girlfriend or boyfriend. Many people won’t talk about it, though, because it is still a taboo subject.”
