Gearing up: ANP forms committees for LG polls

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) has decided to set up district-level committees across the province for local bodies’ elections. The decision was made during a party meeting on Friday. Every committee will evaluate aspirants and nominate candidates from councillors to nazims. Zonal appeal boards will monitor ticket-related issues. The appellate committee will be headed by Sardar Hussain Babak with Ayub Ashari, Naveed Anjum, Zahida Bibi and Khadija Sardar as members.
