MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau aims to clamp down on corruption at the grassroots, NAB Chairman Major (retd) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said at the inaugural ceremony of NAB offices in Multan on Thursday. He said the establishment of NAB offices in Multan would go a long way in providing justice to the people of South Punjab. He said the offices would also cater to complaints from adjacent divisions including Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur. It is unfortunate that corruption has become embedded in the society, he said. “We need to launch an organised campaign against corruption,” he said. Multan Region NAB DG Squadron Leader Tariq Nadeem (retd) presented his welcome note and said NAB investigators aimed to fight corruption without prejudice.
