Shaky Structure: Inmate injured as prison wall collapses
The K-P government has approved Rs500,000 for repairing the building
DI KHAN:
A wall of Central Prison DI Khan collapsed, injuring an inmate, police officials at the jail said on Wednesday. A police official said the wall of Barrack number 7 collapsed as a result of which Gul Ameen, 25, was injured and resultantly shifted to the prison’s hospital. The K-P government has approved Rs500,000 for repairing the building, but the fund is yet to be released, added the policeman. Following a visit to the facility, PHC Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel also wrote a letter to the prison department for the immediate repair of the building.
