Five police officials dismissed from service

Found guilty of charges including irresponsible attitude, negligence and absence from duty

RAWALPINDI:


Rawalpindi police high-ups have dismissed five police officials from service for misusing their authority and dereliction of duty.


City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi also penalised 13 other officials for poor performance and complaints against them.

Officials who have been dismissed include sub-inspector (SI) Farrukh Saghir, head constable Shahbaz Ahmed, and constables Mehwish Rashid, Sanum Saeed and Nisar Sabir.

A Rawalpindi police spokesperson said that the officials, who were punished, were found guilty of charges including irresponsible attitude, negligence and absence from duty.
