ISLAMABAD: Former captain and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan said that Pakistan can win the cricket World Cup 2015 if they manage to qualify and beat Australia in the quarter-finals.

“Adelaide is a slow pitch and Pakistan's best chance of beating Australia is in Adelaide,” said Imran while talking to a private television channel.

He also advised captain Misbahul Haq to include Yasir Shah in the game against Ireland, which is scheduled for March 15 in Adelaide.

“A spinner will be helpful on the Adelaide wicket,” he said, adding that fast bowler Mohammad Irfan should concentrate on getting wickets rather than on not giving runs.

Talking about wicket keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former legend said “he is a talented player who should’ve been given a chance earlier”.
