
Talking to Gao Hucheng, the China International Trade Representative, at the President House, Zardari discussed matters relating to cooperation in economy, trade, investment, infrastructure development, banking operations, roads and communication networks.
Zardari said, “Chinese have expertise and Pakistan offers opportunities to strengthen existing relations with more investment and economic cooperation.” He said that trade was far below the real potential and the government was focusing on enhancing trade with China to take advantage of the real potential of the friendship between the two countries.
