LAHORE:

An election tribunal on Monday ordered that record of the NA 118 constituency be sent for verification to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The tribunal was hearing a petition by Hamid Zaman, a runner-up in the 2013 general elections, for the verification of thumb impressions of voters.

The tribunal directed Khan to pay it Rs10 for each vote to be verified.

Khan had accused Malik Riaz, who was elected MNA from the constituency, of supporting rigging.
