The Supreme Court (SC) exempted Nusrat Bhutto from appearing in an accountability court in the Cotecna reference case on Friday.
The court issued these orders after taking suo motu notice of summoning of Nusrat Bhutto in the case.
A 3 member bench, headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, also ordered the NAB prosecutor general to produce medical certificate of Ms Bhutto.
The hearing of the case was later adjourned till May 5.
