Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday called back all staffers of the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) from foreign missions who were either politically posted or have completed their tenure.

Taking notice of overstay of Nadra officials at several missions, in addition to irregularities pertaining to the postings of the officials abroad, Nisar said that any official which had been deployed in Abu Dhabi from 2008 will immediately return.

“Irregularities in overseas deployments are a challenge. Transparent and merit-based abroad postings must be observed,” the official statement quoted Nisar as saying.
