Sundar police told The Express Tribune that separate complaints had been received about theft of power transformers from PM Sharif’s farm on January 18 and his son-in-law’s farm on January 28. They said no one was nominated by the security in-charge at PM Sharif’s farm and a manager at his son-in-law’s farm.
They said they believed that the suspects were involved in the incident.
“They are employees of a privately owned electrical workshop in Chuhng area. The workshop serves the Water and Power Regulatory Authority amongst its other clients,” they said.
The farms are located in the Sundar Industrial Estate.
