Gas leakage: Explosion in house leaves three dead

QUETTA: A woman and her two children were killed and three others wounded in an explosion caused by the leakage of gas inside a house in Hazara community’s neighbourhood Marriabad in Quetta on Monday. According to a police official, the explosion that occurred at 3am rocked the entire neighbourhood. The roof of the house caved in after the explosion.  He said that Fatima Bibi went into the kitchen to make breakfast and turned on the stove upon which an explosion occurred. The fireball killed Fatima Bibi, eight-year old Mohammad Ali and two-month-old Bibi Zehra instantly. Her husband and two children were pulled out of the debris in injured condition.
