India’s interference in Pakistan, Kashmir to be raised with Indian foreign secretary: Aziz

Adviser to prime minister on foreign affairs stresses the need for meaningful, serious dialogue between both countries

After Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi hinted that he may resume dialogue with Pakistan by sending his new Indian Foreign Secretary to Pakistan soon, a senior government official said on Sunday that all issues, including India’s interference in Pakistan and the Kashmir dispute, will be discussed, Radio Pakistan reported.

Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz in a television interview on Sunday stressed the need for meaningful and serious dialogue between Pakistan and India to resolve all outstanding issues.

He added that the United States and other countries know that India had unilaterally called off the foreign secretary level talks in August last year and that the world community had urged both sides to move forward on the dialogue process.

Aziz said that while progress has been made on issues such as Sir Creek and Siachen, Pakistan will raise India's interference inside Pakistan and the Kashmir dispute in the upcoming talks in which all issues are expected to be discussed.

Moreover , you are publishing comments mostly which are either anti India or anti Pakistan but anyone who tries to bring down differences between India and Pakistan faces black out...Why? His visit is not to discuss Kashmir or what-ever.... His main focus is to enforce common SAARC agenda. For those who claim this is happening because of a phone call from US? No... It is happening because someone was fired from her job and we have a new guy in town.

Obama never said anything about Muslims. He said minorities. Minorities are a target in every country, including America. And a Pakistani talking about Indian Muslims must understand that his own 180 million Muslims are utter failures. "Its high time both India and Pakistan realize their future stability lies in co-existing as two sovereign independent states " Actually NO. The future is bright for the entire world only if Pakistan ceases to exist and Pakistan is broken up into smaller states, like in 1971.

There is no call from Indian People ( Mumbai bombing and LOC violation and constant interference in Kashmjr) for change of status quo. There is a need for a news face , Sartaz Aziz has made too many statements i.e . Drawn lines in the sand . India will never give an inch of it's territory from Kashmir. It is stunning that pakistan parted so quickly from the territory ( East Bengal) which was the real soul ,heart and reason for its being . If Kadhmir is for Kadhmiris , let them fight . Stay out if you interfere then India has every right to support Balauchistan to its freedom fighters. Remember the prince of Kalat was forced by the Pakistani army to surrender.

Vectra | 9 years ago | Reply Don't live in false delusion,Indian Foreign Secretary is on a SAARC "Regional" tour and will be in pakistan as well but he is not on a "Bilateral" visit to pakistan and everyone knows bilateral issues are not discussed in regional meets or tours and if it was indeed raised then it will be taken casually/informally and will be forgotten but not formally and when no formal discussion no chance of moving forward.So Srataz Aziz claim that i will raise or nawaz will raise India’s interference in Pakistan, Kashmir will be heard,thrown out of ear, rejected and forgotten outright since the platform was not part of official "Bilateral" itinerary because Bilateral meeting is not yet agreed by GOI. .
