Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif's mother passes away

Her funeral prayers will be held in Chaklala Garrison this afternoon

RAWALPINDI: Mother of Cheif of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Major Shabir Sharif Shaheed passed away in Rawalpindi, Radio Pakistan reported. 

Her funeral prayers will be held in Chaklala Garrison at 1:45pm this afternoon and the burial will commence after Asr prayers in Cavalry ground, Lahore.

President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif expressed their condolences with the bereaved family.
