LAHORE: A Lahore High Court division bench on Friday disposed of a petition seeking directives for a joint investigation team to hold a fresh probe into the killing of a Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf worker during a rally last year. The bench directed petitioner Atta Muhammad, brother of deceased Haq Nawaz, to approach the department concerned (Home Department) with the matter. The petitioner had submitted that the JIT investigation did not include any of the major suspects mentioned in the FIR including Minister Abid Sher Ali and former law minister Rana Sanaullah.
