Teams of the ICT Administration conducted raids in Bhara Kahu and Allah Wali Market and imposed fines worth Rs19,000 on profiteers.


The teams also imposed fines on 10 hotel and restaurants amounting to Rs34,000 for poor hygiene issues.

A drug inspector sealed four medical stores — Mayma Medical Store, Rehman Medical Store, Green Medical Store and Ahmed Medical Store — in the Lehtrar area for operating in violation of the Drug Act,1976.

Two more medical stores — Mehria Medical Store and D-world Chemist — were also sealed on Lehtrar Road for selling spurious drugs.
